Weakness. Sleeplessness. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Exhaustion. Yearning. Aching. Depression. Sad. Tired. Denial.
Friday our power went out. Near panic. But M fired up the DirecTv and everything was ok – until the station had technical difficulties for over an hour. M thought I was starting to cry. I think it bothered me more than the station that lonely hour for me. And there were deals to be had at that time, too. Opportunistic online bidders won with low $ over that hour.
We visited WVIZ Saturday morning to pick up our one prize: a steal of the night – Ohio Bag. As soon as I was at the station, I wanted to be inside helping. It is a sickness, I know. And the rest of the afternoon, I decided to be a nice wife and go out with M and stay away from the TV.
Sunday, the weather was icky M felt that way. This allowed private auction showing for most of the day. The auction ran over with time 1:42 hours. So I stayed up until 2:42 a.m. last night – until the very end. It is one of my weird quirks that I like to see the final amount raised, hear "Thank you for being a friend" and watch the zebra mascot wave good bye until next year.
WVIZ raised $541,800, and I can take credit for $95 of it. I'm all ready looking forward to next year.
