I did it in Adobe

This is quite possibly one of the most ironic phrases I've heard. It's up there with a former boss telling me she was "fisticated". (and yes, she really did say that. I guess she was just trying to prove she's sophisticated. Uh... if you say you're fisticated, then you really aren't. That is like me calling myself Slim or Grace.

In the graphic arts industry, if you ever hear "I did it in Adobe" – run away from that person – very fast. And never ask them for advise or hire them. Also, try not to sit near them as their stupidity will annoy you.

Yes, I am a software snob. Adobe software is the butter on my bread and it is my money maker. But if you can't tell the difference between Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, DreamWeaver and so on, you are a complete moron. Yo
u may have used Adobe to make your craptactular design or file. But you have also proven yourself to be a waste of air and an insult to my industry and talent. I have a kitchen, but it doesn't make me a chef.

That said, my congratulations to the nitwit at the printer across my cube who is having difficulty printing her file that she "did in Adobe". Next she'll say it won't print because the file is too fisticated.

(this tshirt is cool if you need something to get me.)
